The first community art!
I’ve been wanting to create with a group for a long time, and London’s Inspiration Fest run by the Social Beehive was a perfect place to begin! Inspiration Fest was held in the Green in Wortley Village and even though we were rained out (and our tent blew over!), it was a wonderful day! The community that Heather Cabral has created with her Social Beehive is amazing and we met so many amazing heart-led people… who put their mark on some art! It was a blast to see people get creative and silly together and at the end of the day it was bright and beautiful!
Once the piece was back in studio, I did a light whitewash and got to work adding my signature and completing the artwork. Heather works intuitively though her programs and coaching, and I was drawn to include some crystals in the piece. Crushed amethyst, clear quartz, and rose quartz accent the painted drips.
Thank you, Heather, for allowing me to create for your Social Beehive headquarters…. AND thank you to everyone who was part of the underpainting at Inspiration Fest!
